Nikolskaya Gallery and Pop Up Museum announce collaboration with Sapiens Est restaurant by opening the “Inside Inside” exhibition of Katya Solovieva


On May 29, 2019, an art party will be held in honor of the start of the partnership and the opening of Katya Solovieva's “Galaxy Inside” exhibition.


Nikolskaya Gallery, Pop Up Museum, Restaurant Sapiens Est open a new chapter for themselves: the art-business of cooperation. Now throughout the summer, the restaurant’s walls will be decorated with paintings by the best contemporary Russian artists, which, moreover, can be bought not only on the Nikolskaya Gallery website, but directly in Sapiens Est.


Celebrate the beginning of the partnership Sapiens Est, Nikolskaya Gallery and Pop Up Museum will be a grand art party to be held in a restaurant on May 29. Guests will enjoy not only the most delicious cocktails for which the bar is famous, but also a special dessert Piece of Art, designed by chef Dmitry Gudkov. This edible work of art is a Thai mango, seasoned with mango-passion fruit puree, on a praline of sunflower seeds and pumpkin. It will be served with vanilla ice cream, nut cookies and creamy sauce based on blue-mold cheese and white chocolate with bright fruit flavors.


In the framework of the exhibition project GALAXY INSIDE, 10 works by Yekaterina Solovieva were presented. Works Solovyova really get the similarity with the objects of the Universe due to the painting technique of the artist. Special technique of the author: the use of alcohol ink helps to achieve the effect of overcoming the material and elevation to the forms beyond the visible. If we imagine the Universe as a set of chemical reactions and formations, and present feelings and emotions as a result of the same chemical reactions, we get in the Solovyov's paintings a multifaceted and deep image of the microcosm endowed with flowers with traditional symbolic meaning (pink - love, yellow - happiness, etc.) d.) So it becomes clear to us more than once heard the statement that inside each person there is a whole universe.


Not so long ago, Ekaterina Solovieva, who started exhibiting, has already earned much love among collectors for the organic combination of conceptual and utility of her works. Solovieva works are in private collections in Russia and the United States. Participant of exhibitions in Pop Up Museum, IZO Art Gallery, Omelchenko Gallery, Nikolskaya Gallery.
