On February 1, 2019, POP UP MUSEUM of modern Russian art and NIKOLSKAYA GALLERY, with the support of STONE HEDGE, NEO GEO, SCI-ONE, opened a solo exhibition of Ekaterina Solovieva, GALAXY INSIDE, a popular contemporary artist who uncovers through the abstraction of the topic of human interaction with the inner and outer world. Emotional, metaphysical, sometimes romantic and always coloristically saturated - Solovyeva's objects attract the eye and immerse themselves deeply, each time as if opening for the viewer a new outer space.

The images in the compositions really get similar to the objects of the Universe due to the painter’s painting technique. A special technique of the author: the use of alcohol ink helps to achieve the effect of overcoming the material and elevation to the forms beyond the visible. If we imagine the Universe as a set of chemical reactions and formations, and present feelings and emotions as a result of the same chemical reactions, we get in the paintings of Solovyova a multifaceted and deep image of the microcosm endowed with flowers with traditional symbolic meaning (pink - love, yellow - happiness, etc.) d.). Thus, it becomes clear to us more than once the statement that was heard, that within each person there is a whole universe.

Within the framework of the exhibition project GALAXY INSIDE, 26 works by Yekaterina Solovieva were presented.

The central piece of the exhibition is “KISS” - one of the favorite paintings of the artist herself. The impressive size of the work (200x150), performed on the foam board, instantly attracts attention and intrigues. Aesthetically attractive work, like other objects of the exhibition, carries with it a deep meaning that every viewer can associate with his personal experience.

Not so long ago, Ekaterina Solovieva, who started to exhibit, has already earned much love among collectors for the organic combination of conceptual and utility of her works. Solovieva works are in private collections in Russia and the United States.
